From our noble correspondent:
“Sorry you couldn’t play today. Bill & I turned up and ventured out but, because the forecast was for unpleasant drizzle, we decided to play just the first 9 holes. Despite the rather gloomy & muddy conditions the golf was fun and we a good chatter on the way round.
I won our competition, largely due to my new Driver and 4 Hybrid clubs performing better than expected, after which we adjourned to the clubhouse for lunch where Pete F joined us and the chatter continued.”
