Faced with forecasts containing rain of Biblical proportions, the Ballbashers cancelled the proposed trip to Sunningdale Heath and some of them enjoyed coffee and craic at Temple instead which was, as always, a jolly experience.
On Thursday morning MikeW, Bill and Richard then enjoyed an early start at Temple for a trouble-free round of 4 – 2 – 0 which was narrowly won by Richard (who had invented the rules), overtaking Bill who held the lead after 9 holes. The weather, course and scenery was perfect and there was nobody in front of us and nobody behind us which all made for a very enjoyable game and a craicing time all round.
